Because of the support provided by the water it is an ideal environment for those with mobility issues or are at risk of falling due to poor balance. The warmth of the water can help to reduce muscle spasm, increase circulation and reduce pain, and the lapping sensation is a great way to help relax tense muscles and reduce pain levels. It is particularly beneficial for those who suffer from injuries or musculoskeletal conditions that may be otherwise aggravated by land-based exercise.
